NLLG

About Us

NLLG offers experienced and committed representation to consumers in states across the U.S. who need to defend legal actions brought against them by credit card and financial services companies.  NLLG offers its services to debt settlement companies and their clients, by providing negotiation assistance when creditors refuse to negotiate directly with a debt settlement company, and defense representation when a client is sued to collect on a debt enrolled in the debt settlement program.

Since its inception, NLLG has worked with thousands of consumers in states across the country who have counted on NLLG’s knowledgeable team of dedicated attorneys and support staff to help defend their interests. NLLG has learned through experience the policies and tendencies of creditors and how to negotiate against them.  NLLG knows which client hardships can influence creditors to dismiss lawsuits or agree to more favorable settlements.

NLLG has a staff of 160 employees, including over 40 experienced in-house attorneys, experienced paralegals, legal assistants, and negotiators who work alongside NLLG’s attorneys.  With in-house attorneys licensed in more than thirty-five states, and our network of legal affiliates, we are equipped to defend creditor lawsuits and assist debt settlement companies in most jurisdictions.

NLLG has defended consumers in over 150,000 lawsuits involving over $1.1 billion in claimed debt and settled nearly $800 million of debt with credit card issuers and unsecured creditors who refuse to negotiate with debt settlement companies.  Overall, NLLG has provided legal defense or prelitigation negotiation services on more than 275,000 consumer debts, saving its clients nearly $750 million on these claims.

Services Offered

Prelitigation Negotiation Assistance – NLLG offers negotiation assistance to debt settlement companies and will step in to negotiate with those creditors that refuse to negotiate directly with the debt settlement company.

Legal Defense Representation – NLLG offers legal defense representation to clients of debt settlement companies at an affordable monthly rate paid by the client.  This service is offered at enrollment in the debt settlement program or before the client is sued.  When a client purchases this coverage and a creditor sues to collect on a debt enrolled in the debt settlement program, NLLG will step in to provide defense representation in court and work to resolve the lawsuit for the client.
