What Accreditation Means

The AADR requires its member companies to be accredited to ensure that they meet the highest consumer protection and operational standards.

Accreditation lets consumers know that they have partnered with a debt resolution company that is fully compliant and will represent their best interests in negotiations with creditors towards their goal of a debt-free future.

The AADR partners with an independent third-party auditor to ensure that all AADR member companies, regardless of size or tenure, meet the accreditation standards and are subject to regular third-party audits. Accreditation status must also be renewed annually.

Accredited companies can be found on a searchable database on the AADR website and have earned the right to use the Accredited Member Seal – a distinction recognized among consumers, regulators, and policymakers.
